Find a Scout group in Midlothian

Midlothian District Scouts has eight Scout groups and a district Young Leader Unit, all run entirely by volunteers. Find the group nearest you, check which sections it runs and when they meet, then add your child to its waiting list.

How joining works

  • Choose a group below and use its join button. The form adds your child to that Scout group’s waiting list.
  • You’ll get an automated reply. Someone from the group will be in touch when a space becomes available.
  • Our groups are very busy and run entirely by volunteers. If you’ve heard nothing after an extended period, email info@midlothianscouts.org.uk and we can check the status for you.

When you email us, please include:

  • your child’s first name and surname
  • your child’s date of birth
  • which Scout group’s waiting list you added them to
